Stage 2 Leasing Opportunities

Take your place at Berryfields Crossing

Stage 2 planning has now commenced at Berryfields Crossing, Nelson-Tasman’s newest community-focused, mixed retail and commercial centre, in the heart of Richmond. We are now seeking expressions of interest to be part of this exciting second stage of development.

Mixed Commercial & Quick Service Retail

The focus of Stage 2 developments at Berryfields Crossing will be a new mixed Commercial and Quick Service Retail complex, to sit adjacent to established Food & Beverage and Entertainment offerings such as Silky Otter, Joes Garage, Eat Italy and Burger N Beast.

This new complex will have various opportunities for leasing available, ranging from 80m2 retail spaces, through to 1,000m2 commercial spaces.

The heart of the community

We are currently working closely with a popular grocery brand as part of our Stage 2 programme. The addition of a supermarket will further ensure that Berryfields Crossing will become the premiere community hub for Richmond West.

Come and be a part of the action at Berryfields Crossing!

Location

Berryfields Crossing is on a 5.53ha site located approximately 1km northwest from the Richmond CBD, surrounded by the Richmond West residential development and the unique Waimea Inlet, and with direct access from the Great Taste Trail and local bike and bus routes.

Richmond West is forecast to accommodate over 1,200 new homes with an estimated population of 4,000 people, targeting families, by 2025. There is also a new $130 million lifestyle village which will provide an additional 270 high-end retirement dwellings to the adjacent area. These new developments will bring the core catchment to more than 21,000 people and over 7,600 households.

Retail spend in the core catchment is currently estimated at $276m per annum, 60% of which is associated with food and beverage related retailing. Being a high growth catchment, the projected growth in retail demand means that by 2038, annual retail spend in the core catchment is estimated to grow to $352m.
